For some reason, Youtube nor the videos do not work on my iPad's Safari, so I must rely on the app. For most other people it still works though, but post the name and not just the video so I can see it too.

Bush - The People That We Love - Alternate Rock (2001) - Probably my all-time favorite song, driving or not. I heard it first when I was 6 years old playing NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. This is a childhood memorial song.

OneRepublic - Counting Stars - Pop (2013) - I heard this first in the waiting room at the dentist a few months back.

Disturbed - Guarded - Rock (2005) - I heard this first on MX vs. ATV Untamed.

Bush - Comedown - Rock (1994) - I like it until about halfway through, when it gets too heavy metal for my taste. It's a long song.

Bayside - Blame It On Bad Luck - Alternate Rock (2005) - This is probably my 2nd favorite, it would be a close call between this and "The People That We Love" if the lead singer didn't swear twice at the end.

*NSYNC - Bye Bye Bye - Pop (2000) - I first heard this in my Spanish class earlier this school year.

Shinedown - Adrenaline - Rock (2012) - This is a great one, it's really upbeat and energetic.

Daughtry - It's Not Over - Rock (2006) - I first heard this in my English class in the first semester of last year. This and "The People That We Love" are very masculine-sounding songs.

Rammstein - Du Hast - Heavy Metal (1997) - This is similar to "Adrenaline'" but more powerful and gothic. I first heard this between 5-7 years old while on the way to 70 West Marina in my dad's F-150, making it another childhood memorial song.

There are plenty more that I like, those are the main ones. How's my taste in music? Most are rock from the early 2000s

What do y'all like? Any suggestions?

Isn't it? The beat and tempo are each perfect, and the whole song just synergizes so well with the road.

Rick Astley comes on during the parking lot exit, so you get to troll everybody as you leave with a kickass tune. Separate Ways comes on just as you hit the highway, and you're off. Sweet Dreams flows naturally from Separate Ways, something that Tron: Legacy introduced me to. After so much funeral dirge, we get Kenny Loggins to cheer us up.

Here Comes The Rain is also pretty good for lower speed (35-50) driving. Love the beginning of that tune.

"Covered in Chrome" by Violent Soho is a good one, if you like the Pixies's soft-loud-soft style.

"Sleep Deprivation" by Simian Mobile Disco has a good beat.

but "Tick of the Clock" (the full version" is my favorite night driving song, especially if the roads mostly empty.

I generally just throw my favorite artist, Into It. Over It., on shuffle or pick one of his albums. I've been listening to a lot of newer rock and pop though, these two are about cars and a side project of Into It. Over It.

Most played albums for the last month are: Proper - Into It. Over It., American Beauty/American Psycho- Fall Out Boy, We Don't Have Each Other - Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties, M.I. - Masked Intruder

I remember seeing Russian Circles live when they opened for Coheed and Cambria along with Black Tide. They were fucking amazing. I have NEVER seen the Myrtle Beach House of Blues crowd so entranced respectfully silent. It was downright hypnotic.

It's hilarious and disturbing how many random strangers will sing along.

Mine vary consistently, but I'll sum it up. Basically most classic rock, 80's pop, and 70's funk thrown in for good measure.

I missed the opportunity to see them near me when I was foolishly painting a car. My friends who went tell me that it is the best show that they ever saw. I still regret that to this day.

It was something else, man. I've been to a ton of concerts and while it was not necessarily the best (Mindless Self-Indulgence takes that spot for me), they were one of the most memorable and thought-provoking.

I won't go int exhaustive detail, but some of my favorite cruising songs for a nice summer drive around the lakes are pretty much any song by Vampire Weekend. Also, as the others have suggested, you should try giving some classic rock from 60s/70s/80s a listen. Good mix of laid-back stuff to just cruise with and some hard driving stuff when you really get going in the twisties. 80s stuff with a nice synth groove is really fun too.
